"What is love without a little danger?"
''Daddy?'' Angel whispered.Coming closer to her father's body,she wrapped her arm around his torso and placed her flawless leg over his lap.
''Yes,sweetie?'' Edward,her father said in response.
''I don't need a mommy.I am grown enough to take care of myself and you.'' She shrugged.
''One day or the other,you'll get married and live somewhere afar from here.Who will take care of me then?'' He faked a smile.
''You know,I will never get married.'' She exclaimed.
He laughed.That's what Angel loved,to see him smile,to see him happy."You just turned eighteen this morning,sweetheart.You have a long way ahead of you." He said.
"I don't want to leave you daddy." She hugged him tightly.He laughed slowly.
"Do you love me, daddy?" She asked like a little baby.
"Of course,baby.You are my little princess.You are all I have.You are my only happiness." He smiled and removed a portion of hair from my face.
"You are my king,daddy." She pressed her face on his chest.
"Now if you leave me,I have to leave for work." He said.
"No, come on.You are the boss.It doesn't matter if you don't go." Angel frowned.
"Business doesn't work that way.Moreover,I have an important meeting today." He said.
"But today is my birthday,daddy.Please stay." She almost cried.
"I promise I will come back soon." Edward said and kissed her forehead before leaving for work.
She was tired of being alone all the time in the huge villa.Her father would leave for work early in the morning and then come back in the evening.
She wanted someone close to her.
She started to wonder that why does he need to go to office everyday? He was the boss,after all.He had everything under his control.
However,she stepped out of the house.Sad and angry.She decided to skip her school today because it was her birthday.
Walking around here and there,she spent the rest of the day alone.

Edward POV
I walked inside the house.The whole house was decorated for his lovely daughter's birthday.A few guests already arrived but his eyes searched for her.
Where was she?
The guests greeted me and asked where Angel was and of course I had no idea.I just said she was in her room getting ready.
She wasn't in her room.
I dialed her number.
Several times.She didn't respond.
He started to worry about her.
By that time,all the guests arrived.Suddenly,I noticed my little baby girl walking down the stairs like a little princess she was.
She seemed off.What was bothering her?
She was talking with a few friend of hers,female friends.Of course,I would never allow her to bring a male to my house.
I motioned her to cut the cake and she did.
She seemed a bit happier than before.I was happy.
After the cake cutting ceremony,I gestured her to come to me.She walked towards me with her eyes fixed on the ground.She didn't even look at me.
"Where have you been? Why didn't you answer your calls?" I asked.
"I was in my room and my phone was on vibration mode." She said,again with no eye contact.
"I checked your room,you weren't there." I gritted my teeth.
"Yes,I was.You didn't check properly." She said.I didn't buy it but as it was her birthday,I decided to spare her.

The party ended and Angela was sitting on the living room and watching tv.Something was bothering her and I needed to know what it was.
"Angel?" I called her.
"Yes." She replied.Her eyes were fixed on the tv.I took the remote and switched it off.
"What happened?" I asked as I ran my fingers through her hair.
"Nothing." She replied and bit her lips.
"Stop biting your lips and this isn't the usual you.So cut the drama and tell me what happened." I said.
"I told you it's nothing." She said.I was infuriated.
"I don't get it.I did so much for you and why aren't you still happy? Wasn't your birthday perfect or was it too little?" I increased my tone and stood up.
"Did I conplain about anything? Why are you always so rude to me?" Her beautiful hazel eyes filled with tears as she ran off to her room.
"An-!"
