Chapter 1: The Portal
For a twenty year old Ellio, marrying the woman that he adored all his life is like a dream come true. Wearing his wedding suit and sitting on a white limousine, he is now on his way to the church, to stand at the end of the aisle and wait for his bride that was originally owned by his older brother
Before Ellio could get him, he nonstop pestered and persuaded his parents to separate the original lovers. Because he is a spoiled brat who always gets what he wants, his wish is now coming true. He didn't know what his parents did and he won't bother to ask as long as the woman is now his
But his excitement and anticipation were replaced by fear and shock when a black van suddenly appeared from the front, stopping the previously running limousine.
A group of men came out from the black van and went directly to where Ellio is currently sitting. They opened the car doors and attacked the groom's bodyguards
"Who are you people?! What are you doi-!" by a single and strong hit from the nape, Ellio immediately collapsed.
Upon opening his eyes, he finds himself in a dark and old room. With only
the window providing him with little light coming from the sunrise.
"Wait?! Sunrise?!" he exclaimed and started questioning how many hours he had been sleeping.
He quickly stands up from lying on the cold floor and runs towards the grilled doors.
"Who's in there?!" His voice echoed along the hallway. "Get me out of here! I have a wedding to attend!"
No matter how loud his voice was, no one heard Ellio for the ears of the abductors were closed.
"You morons! Why the hell did you lock me in here?! Just state your goddamn price and set me free!" He demanded once more but it was not the money that the abductors wanted. They were just following orders from someone.
Ellio started kicking and hitting the metal door. He shouted and cursed at the top of his lungs, cursing and demanding to be freed but to his disappointment, not a single one came for him.
Panting and frustrated, he searched the whole room and planned to escape. He scanned the area, looking and plotting a way to get him out of these four walls.
Ellio's only hope is the small window where the light is coming from. It was too high for him to climb on but thankfully there was a wooden chair positioned on the corner. He gets it and moves it directly below the window. He steps on the chair and the window is now at her reach.
It was made from thick see through glass but thankfully, the frame was all rusty and easy to remove. But to a spoiled brat who lived his whole life with maids and never did any physical work, removing it was still hard for him.
But Ellio is desperate, he cannot wait for people to come and save him.
"Damn it! Why is this so hard to remove!" With a few grunts and using up all his strength, he successfully detached it. The sound of the window frame landing and breaking on the floor was enough to alarm the men outside.
The window was small and its size is not enough for a human being to go through but Ellio made it possible. He successfully made it out
"Fùck!" he cringes in disgust when both of his shining black and expensive shoes landed on the dirty mud. It stained his black pants too.
He wasted no time and started running away from that secluded place. He was tons of meters away when
he suddenly heard the voices of his abductors.
"He's here!"
"Follow him!"
Ellio internally curses and runs faster. He halted for a bit when he reached the entrance of a deep forest. He looked back and saw those men coming nearer and nearer. He has nowhere else to run to.
"Oh fùck this! Getting eaten by a wild bear is better than staying in that disgusting room anyway!"
He steps foot in the forest, running for his life. The forest was huge and diverse. The crowns from the trees allowed cascading lights to shimmer through for a flood of shrubs to rule the soft, rich soils below. A discord of animal sounds, which were caused by small creatures, filled the air, and were accompanied by the swaying of tree tops.
Ellio is not a nature-person but only if he was in a different situation, he would still pause to admire its beauty.
"Arghh!" he winced in pain when one of the branches caught his coat and wounded his arm. Blood immediately dripped out. He pushed his hand against it to somewhat reduce the pain and to slow down the bleeding.
Ellio continued running and dashed through tree after tree. He stumbled a ton of times but there was no time for him to even cry nor wince for his now bleeding knees 'cause any time by now those men will catch up to him
He stopped from his tracks when he reached the middle of the forest. His mouth gaped open upon seeing a huge
standing golden creation that seemed out of place in this forest. It has six pillars standing in a circular position with a huge circular stone with the color of the emerald. It shone brightly and served as the power source for the portal located in the center of the pillars.
Ellio's mouth gaped open for he only sees this kind of view on fantasy movies and hears it from his nanny's bedtime stories. He didn't know what to do and was stuck from right where he's standing not until he heard voices coming from the men coming after him.
Ellio's wounded knees can no longer run anymore and his bleeding arm has made him weak. So he didn't have any choice anymore. He doesn't know what consequences he will face nor does he know where this portal will take him but he decided to take the risk and stepped into the structure.
"I can see him!"
"Run faster before we lose him!"
He gulped down his fear and doubt and took a step towards the portal. The light brightened up so much that he needed to use her arm to protect it. He felt dizzy and his stomach was getting so many butterflies that it turned into monsters messing up his insides. An abstract force pulled him into a foreign world. He lost his balance and sat on the grass. With wide and confused eyes, he roamed his sight all over the place. What caught his attention first was the handsome groom in fancy medieval clothes standing on the altar, a few meters away from him. It was looking at him with the same wide and shocked eyes.
Ellio stood up, almost stumbling because of dizziness. His eyes shifted across the church and the moment he did that his lips parted and his eyes widened even more. He can almost feel his soul separating from his body. He realizes the situation but refuses to comprehend it.
Ellio is standing in a wedding aisle surrounded by monstrous and scary.. WOLVES!
