Prologue
FLASHBACK
"Wait!" Yelled the 7 years old boy, running after the little girl. His voice was the only thing filling the awkward silence in the whole hospital. His leg was hurt, but that was the last thing for him to worry about.
The girl turned around to see his tired figure running slowly towards her. She came closer, greeting him with a warm smile.
"Take it" He said, giving her a small ball with some colorful words written on it.
"I can't play with it anymore." He continued sadly. "Remember about me when you look at it."
She smiled sadly, tears started filling her eyes. That smile was the thing he loved the most, it could always calm him down and make him feel better. Not just her smile, he loved everything about her, even a little pink hat with white flowers, which always covered her bare head. He had never seen her without that cute, strange hat and couldn't even imagine the girl having long, beautiful hair like every girl he had seen. Everything about her was unique, not just her little hat. That's why he loved her with the greatest power of first love.
She took the ball out of his hands. "I will keep it all my life. I will never forget you. " She said weakly, feeling the strong pain in her head again.
The little girl was trying hard to hide the great pain behind her beautiful smile, like her head under the pink hat. But he already knew her too well not to notice that.
"Promise me, that you won't die without seeing me again." He said with tears streaming down his fluffy cheeks.
She chuckled cutely wiping the tears off his cheeks. "I won't die until I see you playing football with this ball again. I promise."
"Hope! Hurry up, we have to go." Her father told her.
She waved at him sadly and followed her father. This was the last time they ever saw each other. Both of them lost the hope that they would ever meet. But neither of them have ever forgotten about each other.
