Xavier Walker is always known as the bad boy, as the boy with no feelings, a boy who hardly ever smiles. He is the exact opposite of his one year younger brother, Adam. Adam Walker is a bright happy person, you can never see him with a frown on his face (except if he's faking it!). You can never tell if he's joking or not, and he loves to sing. The two brothers are keeping a big secret, what they do not know is that the secret might change their whole lives.

Daisy Anderson is the lonely girl with no friends at all, even though Daisy is a girl, she can hardly get along with girls. She hates dresses, hates make up, and loves to play video games. You will be surprised to know that Daisy has two sisters who are girly-girls, but god only knows why Daisy turned out to be like this.

When they cross paths, and the Walker brothers' past unfolds, will Daisy be able to keep up with their past? And who will she fall in love with?

1.1: the time we met
Hello, before you continue reading this book, please understand: - English is NOT my first language. - I am improving though! Now enjoy the long ride, you're all amazing! THANK YOUUU! PART ONE: "Eventually, you'll end where you need to be, with who you're meant to be with, and doing what you should be doing." I can never relate to this quote, I can never imagine myself being happy and accepting who I am. My life has taught me that loving is not easy, and even though I tried loving someone, I can't find it in my heart to love him back - or even like him back. Honestly, it sucks. Especially when your mom keeps teasing you about it, that hurts. Throughout my nineteen years of life, I recently just realized the answer to my messed up life. You can't love someone else when you don't love yourself, you have to learn to love yourself in order to love others. You cant give people what you don't have, right? That is what I tell myself. "Lexi," my sister barges into my bedroom. "Get ready, we are going out with Mike." I whine, because I really don't want to go, it feels weird third-wheeling on every date they go to. "Why do you want me to go?" I ask, standing up from my bed. "Because Lola is coming with us," she responds. Lola is my fourteen year old sister, and she hates going out with them as much as I do. "Okay," I nod. "Just give me a minute." "Okay, hurry up." •• We are currently in a fancy restaurant where I do not belong, all around us are people with big brand bags, and they all look rich. In the corner of my eyes, I catch a couple of boys sitting next to us who are staring at our table. I roll my eyes, knowing that they are staring at Sophia. Too bad she has a boyfriend. "And then, I told her that I love you and I want to marry you soon," Mike tells us about him talking to his mother about asking my dad for his blessings. I roll my eyes, he is not educated in this matter; why is he telling my sister that he is going to propose to her soon? Why not surprise her? Shaking my head to escape the thoughts, I grab my phone from the table and open it. Even though I have no one to talk to, I keep scrolling down **, liking random people's pictures. •• Waking up to my sister waking up, I know that she's mad over something so stupid. I ignore her, and stay in my bed. Until she decides to shake me, and that is when I jump up and start hitting her. "Stop waking me up! What do you want?!" "Did you take my blusher?!" She growls. I roll my eyes, "do you know me at all?" "I'm just asking," she huffs. "And you just woke me up," I push her slowly, and walk to the bathroom. I am awake, so it only makes sense if I stay awake. "Starbucks?" Sophia asks. "We can pick Mike up and we'll all go to the park?" "No," I shake my head. "I am really not in the mood." "Come on," she whines. "We'll have fun." "Are you going to pay?" I ask. "For Starbucks?" "Yep," I nod, and she just shrugs. She walks out of the bedroom, and I open the closet to find the most comfiest outfit I own. ••• We walk to the park that's close to Starbucks, and I am walking behind them, they were a bit far from where I am. I am busy watching a funny video, and accidentally bump into someone. "My bad," he says. "It's fine," I do not look up, and I ignore the boy. "Okay, so you spilled a bit of coffee on me, and I guess that's fine?" He says. I still do not look up, "do not cry over it, just... buy a new shirt." I make my way to my sister and her boyfriend, ignoring the boy who is calling me 'GIRL!' in the back. Mike and Sophia are sitting on a brown bench near the playground, they are facing the children and the parents watching them. I sit next to Mike, and I look at them. "Excited much?" I smirk. "About?" Mike furrows his eyebrows. "Kids," I reply. "You're watching them with love and care, I can't wait for you two to give this love and care to your babies." "Me too," Mike mumbled, he is probably shy to talk more about it. "By the way, I invited my friend because we want him to invite us to his mansion! IT'S HUGE and imagine being friends with a millionaire." I roll my eyes, "why would you befriend someone just because of their money?" "He's coming," he smiles. "And by the way, I am friends with him because he has these super famous friends who have the double money that Kyle has." I almost comment on what he said, but a familiar voice appears behind me and cuts me off. "Mike." "Kyle, hello," Mike stands up and he shakes hands with him. He looks at Sophia and sends a smile to her. "Kyle," he introduces himself to Sophia. "I'm Sophia," she smiles shyly. I can tell that he is ignoring me, and to be honest; I am used to be ignored by ignorant boys. Kyle has straight jet black hair that reaches his ears, and he has small hazel eyes. Even though Kyle can be counted as a cute boy, he is not my type. "Sophia is my girlfriend," Mike adds, jealousy is showing in his eyes. "That's her little sister, Daisy." Kyle looks at me, and he smiles slightly. "Hey, Daisy." I ignore him and look at my phone, if he's expecting me to answer him, then he is wrong. Sophia nudges my arm with her elbow, but I only glare at her. However, she does not take that as a sign, and pulls me away from Mike and Kyle. "What are you doing?" She yells but whispering, in case they can hear us. "Nothing, this dude barely acknowledged me when he approached us," I shrug. "I am not talking to a boy with this attitude!" "You have an attitude yourself," she scoffs. "We are trying to set you up with him, can't you see?" "I do not need your help doing that," I roll my eyes. "If I want a boyfriend, I will get a boyfriend." That is when I walk away from them, and I make my way to another direction from them ** Hours pass and I am still walking alone, darkness has filled the sky and now the street lights are guiding me home. However, I hear footsteps behind me but I refuse to turn around, and face that creep who has been following ever since darkness has set in. I try to walk faster, but I know I am not quite a runner even though I am 5 foot 7. That's when I decide to turn around, I inhale slowly as I turn my head only to see the boy. As soon as I turn around, he stops moving and so I continue walking fast. However, I can feel his footsteps walking closer to me, and that is when anxiety kicks in. I believe that I am sweating, and I can't control the ache I feel in my stomach. I almost give up, until I catch a young boy sitting on a doorstep two houses away. I realize what I am going to do might be embarrassing for me, but still; it is better than being r***d by an old man. I walk faster than before to the young boy, and as soon as I reach; I stand in front of him. He looks up, he looks confused and gives me a questioning look. I sit next to him, and give a side hug. I make sure that only him can hear me, because I can't imagine if the old man hears me, he will know that I am lying. "This man has been following me for an hour," I whisper in his ear, I can't see his face very well but he has short blond hair but wavy on top. "Babe, I was waiting for you since five, where have you been?" He stands up, offering me his hand. I hold his hand and stand up, but then he cringes. I almost spit on his fave, but he starts to remove his black hoodie. "Your hand is very cold, take my hoodie." He hands me his hoodie, but the only thing I can focus on is his muscular body. He is wearing a white t-shirt that shows his muscular hands, I think he has the same body as Shawn Mendes. I immediately know that he is showing off to the old man that he will knock him down if he ever gets near me, and suddenly I am flattered. He intertwines his fingers with mine, and we walk to the same direction I was walking at. We stop hearing footsteps as soon as we reach the next block, he then looks at me with. a smirk on his face. "Next time do not look so beautiful and walk alone at night," he says. "It is dangerous for a pretty girl like you, and because I am a gentleman, I need your address so I can drop you off to your house safe and sound." I can't help but blush when he said that, butterflies are flying all over my stomach and that's the first time I ever feel them. I hope he is not lying, because it will hurt if he is. "I think I can manage on my own," I look him in the eyes, he had the brightest blue eyes which. are very mesmerizing. "Imagine me letting you walk alone at night," he chuckles, he offers me his hand and leads me to a freaking Bugatti, my eyes widen at the car ahead of me. I do not believe that he owns this car, until he opens the door for me, and I just stare at him with wide eyes. "Never seen a Bugatti before?" "Never rode one," I admit. "And this Bugatti looks expensive, and it looks so good and fancy." "It is the most expensive car in the world, it's Bugatti La Voiture Noire," he claims. "In fact, this car costs 18.68 million dollars." I do not even dare to say anything, but I only admire the car and how good it looks. If I have this kind of money, I will buy more than six cars. ** Home is not where he's taking , he parks his car in front of a diner, and he opens the door for me from his seat. "Cars these days, eh?" I get out of the car with a confused look on my face, "what are we doing here?" "Do you think I didn't notice your stomach growling?" He smirks. I do not reply, but I do blush, and that's a first time too. His eyes light up, "I still do not know your name." We walk inside the diner, and we sit at the table next to the window. "Daisy," I say as soon as he sits across from me. "Like the flower," he smirks. "Not surprised. And, I am Adam." "What a heroic name," I compliment him. "I know," he dances. He almost says something but one of the workers cut him off. "If it isn't our favorite costumer." I look up to see a lady who looks over her forties, she has short red hair that reaches her shoulders, and bright blue eyes but not as bright as Adam's. "Claire, it's so nice seeing you again." "It's been a while," she shuffles his hair, then she looks at me and a wider grin forms on her face. "Finally, a girl, how are you? Do you know that Adam is the most amazing boy alive, and you better love him right." "Claire," Adam whines but still, he has a smile on his face. "What? I am stating the truth here, Adam, give yourself some credits, you are the most kindest man alive, you are amazing, one smile can light up the whole world," she kissed his cheek. Adam blushes, and looks down at the menu. "I am trying to impress the girl, not to scare her away." "You're not scaring me away," I speak up. "I am actually glad that she made you blush." "Shut up," he winks at me. He tells his order to Claire, and points at me to order what I want. As Claire takes our orders, she disappears inside of the kitchen. "So, Daisy, tell me more about yourself." "As if you know me at all," I roll my eyes playfully. "I know that you're a beautiful girl," he flirts, I give him a small smile. He knits his eyebrows together, "don't you believe me?" "Umm.. not really," I shook my head. "Boys don't really chase after me, they often ignore me for my sister." "Their loss," he shrugs. "Daisy, you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen and I am not saying that because I feel sorry for you, not that I do, but you do not need boys to remind you how beautiful you are." I never knew that a day like mine could ever end like this, I just met a handsome stranger who called me beautiful, but he is still a stranger though.
