Tomorrow

The front door clicked open all by itself which was quite weird because I was sure I locked it this morning. But then again maybe mom came home during her lunch break, she always do. I was met with mom favourite perfume immediately I entered which confirms my earlier suspicion, mum is definitely home. " Mom, I'm home' I yelled, throwing my backpack on the couch, out of habit. I was met with silence which didn't bug me much since mom has never really been the loud type. She could've answered me and I wouldn't know. "School was hectic today, Mr Mckreal gave us tons of homework . Honestly I'm sure this man is trying to make us all drop out, I means who gives grade 12 lot of homeworks and worst still...maths". i knocked on her brown oak door. "I'm coming in". I didn't wait for her to answer before barging in and the sight I met shooked my soul inside out . The sight of mom body bent awkwardly near her vanity table greeted me. I would have laughed and made fun of her if not for the pool of blood around her and the knife buried in her stomach. I didn't realize i was screaming, my brain couldn't process anything. It was like time stopped. "No no no,mom!!!" I was a sobbing mess by the time I snapped out of it. I rushed to my mother side,grabbing her hand which was filled with blood. " Talk to me mom. Please tell me this is a joke" i tried waking her up, wishing she could just open her eyes.
