PROMISE of a blue wolf

Ashley pov: Today is my 10th birthday....mom and dad gave me a surprise birthday party... everyone gave expensive gifts for me but the most precious gift was given by my mom. The news I wanted to hear all these years.... yeah ... you guessed absolutely right!... she was expecting a baby and I am soon to be a sister..." aww I love you mom" I yelled and hugged her after hearing the greatest news...Ooops!... I forgot to introduce myself... as everyone knows I am The Ashley Adler Daughter of Lucas Adler The Alpha of grey moon pack and Olivia the Luna of the pack. My mom and dad are the most lovely dovey couple I have ever seen. They are my idol. I love them to the moon and back. One day mom called me so I went to her room happily. She is now in the 8th month of her pregnancy. her belly also has grown. nowadays she looks tired and weak. maybe it's because of the pregnancy. she was sitting on the bed when I entered her room. I smiled and hugged her like always I do. she hugged me back. " what happened mommy" I asked while pulling out myself from the warm hug and sat down near her. she gave a smile but I didn't seem so real as she asked " I love you honey and you that right?" yeah I know that but what had happened to her suddenly? why is she behaving weird? I was confused as I nodded my head... she continued " Aash .... baby.... can I ask you for something?" i replied " of course mom .... anything you want..." I smiled and touched her belly and just wanted to feel the baby's movements .... it feels so good....I sometimes wonder how mom feels.... I mean a baby moving in Tommy....? mom again called my name" Aash...."I looked up at her face just to hear what she wanted to say... she continued " baby ... I know you will be a wonderful sister.... trust me I believe in you...but still please can you promise me to take care of the baby and always protect her no matter what happens in the future you will always be with her.... " I was shocked to hear moms words.... but if that's what she wants of course I will promise her ... without thinking twice I replied" I promise I will always protect her and never leave her side no matter what happens in the future.... anyway mom am I getting a sister.....? " mom laughed and nodded as she said"hmmm".. me and dad were preparing surprise baby shower to mom... with maids help we almost finished everything except the cake.... dad wants bake the cake him self... and I helped him with the decorations. I am dying to meet our little one and I can say it's not only me but mom and dad too... we both were very excited.... we hope mom like it... we invited some close friends to the baby shower..... mom was very happy but I feel it's not real... I can say most of the time she fakes a smile on her face ... she seems very weak .... maybe she is just tired... I was there all the time with her until the party ends... we enjoyed alot... we took photos together.... we dance and had lots of fun.... after everyone left dad announced that we are leaving for a over night to our farm house....I was very happy that I jumped and yelled " wow..... superb dad I love you" I hugged him and he hugged me back ..... dad usually can't spend more time with us because of his Alpha duty.... but he always spares some little time and makes that special for us.... like we had gone for picnics, family dinners, get togethers with friends, BBQs, 2 or 3 times we already visited the farm house as well.... our farm house is located little far from our pack but let me tell that place is a haven.... it's so beautiful that I don't want return home after visiting there.... I was packing my things that I noticed mom was very quiet.... it seems she doesn't want to leave.... but why... the farm house was not only my favourite place but mom's too... but today I can't see any joy from her face... or maybe she is tired that's why.... never mind I am sure she will feel better after visiting there. we travel 5 to 6 Hr by car to reach our farm house...the area our farm house located was the most beautiful spot I have ever seen.trust me no one will get bored of such a place like this... the sea, the beach, the trees and the flower bushes surrounding our little farm house were a good example of beauty of nature.... it feels so peaceful and calm here.....I love it... When we reach there the first thing I want to do is jump into the sea.... it's true swimming is my favourite sport but let me tell you it's so different When we swim in the sea .... I have a big swimming pool at my pack house . I swim there every day but I don't want to miss the rare chance I get to swim in the sea ... I changed my clothes to a swimming suit and was about to put my but out of the house mom stopped me. she insisted before leaving I have to finish my breakfast first after that I can go for a swim.... so I obey her and that's what I always do.... no matter how much I want to do something but still if she says no or wait... I always do as her wish... I always tried my best to be the best daughter ever... At the time I finished my breakfast the weather was changed....I love rain but mom doesn't allow me to go into the rain.... I can say something is different today... it's very unusual for her to say no ... I mean she always allows me to play in the rain .... but today she didn't.... there must be a good reason behind that but still what can I do... I got pissed ... now I can't swim nor can I go into the rain. but I am not a girl who will argue with their parents over any wants ... I always listen to them and obey . I believe they know what's best for me more than I know ... but still I am a kid ... I couldn't help my mood so dad tried to chill me and gave me an idea of playing carrom and eating chocolate ice-cream .... after hearing those words only make my mood improve.... dad knows I love eating chocolate ice cream on rainy days....
