EVERY DARK CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING. ***************************************************** I kept running. The moon was suddenly so bright. I felt the urge to go down on my four and run so fast. ‘Let me out” a voice in my head said. I felt like something was trying to come out of my body. I let out a cry as I felt my bones cracking. I got down on all four and let out a loud howl. suddenly I jolt out of bed.   “It’s just another dream,” I said as I rubbed my eyes. “Why do these dreams keep on coming?” I asked myself. I turned on the light and looked at my clock, it was 6:30 am. I’ve been having these terrifying dreams for a while but I can’t tell my parents because I don’t want to get them worried.          OK, let me introduce myself. I’m Ariana Bluemoon. I’m 17years old and I live with my parents.  I’m the only child but I’m not a spoilt brat like other kids. “I better get ready for school. I don’t want to be late on my first day’’ I said to myself, as I hurried into the bathroom. I had my bath and came out to look for what to wear. “Get up sweetie. It’s 7 am. You don’t want to be late’’ my mom shouted from downstairs “I’m up mom” I yelled back.          I went over to my wardrobe and began to look for what to wear. I chose a white long-sleeved crop top, a black ripped jeans and I topped it with a black sneaker. I put on my earrings, my belly ring and a heart-shaped necklace. I’m not really a fan of makeup so I didn’t apply except a pink lip-gloss. I grabbed my bag and went down to the dining table for breakfast.          “Morning mom and dad” I greeted my parents as I gave them both a peck.          “Morning sweetie” my mom replied with a smile “Morning Wolf” my dad replied from his coffee.          My dad gave me a nickname which is a wolf. I’ve asked him why he calls me that and he says I’m a very strong and brave girl. The day I had my first dream of turning into a wolf, I told him and he said It’s because I like my nickname, ‘wolf, so much.          I had my breakfast of pancake and egg. Then my dad drove me off to school. ******************************   “Have fun at school today, Wolf”, my dad said as he kissed me on my forehead. “Thanks, dad”, I said as I got out of the car.          I made my way towards the entrance of the school, ignoring the looks I got from the boys. I went ahead to look for the front office but I didn’t know where it was.          “Hey, can I help you with something?”, a voice asked from behind me.          I turned around and found a hot dark skinned guy. He had brown eyes, short black curly hair and a nice smile.          “Hi. Yes, please. Can you please show me to the front office?” I replied sweetly.            “Sure, follow me. I’m Derick Smith by the way” he said as he held his hand for a shake.          “I’m Ariana Bluemoon” I shook back “This is the front office” he showed me. “Do you want me to wait for you? “He asked.          “If you wouldn’t mind” I replied hopefully “Sure. I’ll be here” he said. I went into the front office and saw the secretary. I greeted her and after I introduced myself, she handed over my schedule. I thanked her and went out to meet Derick. I gave him my schedule and he said “We only algebra together today. Come on, let me show you to the biology class.” I thanked him and he gave me my schedule back. He took me to the biology class and said, “I’ll see you later.” I waved and opened the door of the class “Good morning. You must be Ariana Bluemoon. I’m Mr. Maxwell, the biology teacher” the teacher greeted as I walked in.          “Morning sir” I greeted. “Please sit with Avery Black at the back,” he said pointing to where Avery was. As I made my way to Avery, I noticed the students staring at me. “Hi,” Avery said. “Hey” I replied.                           ************************** It was finally lunch and I made my way to the cafeteria with Avery Black and her friend, Amina Glass. As we took our food, we were looking for where to sit when I saw Derick waving at me.          “Let’s sit with Derick,” I told Avery and Amina as we made our way to Derick.          “Wassup girl”, Derick,” said as he hugged me and patted the space next to him for me to sit. “Ariana, these are my friends Jack, Sam, Arthur and Dave”          “Hey” they all greeted. I also introduced Avery and Amina to them when I saw the way Avery was staring at Jack and Amina staring at Dave.          “It looks like we will be having two couples between us soon” I whispered to Derick and he laughed. We all began to eat and started gisting. “My dad also calls me a wolf,” I said to them.          “Speaking of wolves”, Avery said looking at the rest with a look. “I think we should warn her about the wolf gang”          “What about wolves,” I said confused with fry in my mouth. “Well, we have a student called Demitrey Wolf. He is like the hottest boy in the school. He is a football star. He hangs out with a certain group of friends: Benny, who acts as his second in command; Catherine, Benny’s girlfriend and the most beautiful girl in the school. Benny is also on the football team and his girlfriend is the cheerleader captain. Ethan, Demitrey’s sexy cousin and the basketball star. Erik the second basketball star and his girlfriend Bella, the second prettiest girl in the school. They have this aura of power following them. Be careful around them, they are trouble” Avery warned.          “Yeah” the rest agreed.          “But I doubt Catherine will be the most beautiful girl in this school again with you around. Derick said as I blushed “I’m serious, with those blue eyes of yours, you look like a goddess”.          We continued our discussion but I kept thinking of this Wolf and his gang. The bell rang, indicating the end of lunch. We all got up and headed for algebra.  ***************************************************          The rest went in a blur and suddenly, it was the end of the day. I was about to call an Uber to pick me up when Derik asked, “Do you want me to drop you off at home?”          “Sure, thanks”, I said as we made our way to his black Honda.          Derik and I kept talking about different things but my mind was still on our discussion about Wolf and his gang.  Derik parked in front of my house.          “Thanks, Derik. Wanna come in?”, I asked him          “Maybe next time. I have to pick my girlfriend for our movie date” he said as he gave me a peck.          I got down from the car and waved him goodbye as he drove off.          “Hey mom,” I said as I hugged her          “Hello sweetie. How was school?” she asked.          “It was okay. Where’s dad?” I asked          She walked over to the living room and said, “He’s still at work. He’s having a meeting with a new client.”          I replied with an okay and went to the kitchen to grab something to eat. I went back to my room: did my assignment, played a few games, had video calls with Derik and Ashley, his girlfriend, Avery and Amina. I went down around 7 pm and had my dinner then I went back to my room to sleep hoping I don’t have another haunting dream. But before I slept, Demitrey Wolf came to my mind.
