Unconditional love knows no boundaries, never demands or expects anything in return.

One-sided love, with no expectations in return, is something that breaks your heart and makes you question the sanity of that person. After all, how can someone love unconditionally when it huts so much.......?????

This story is something very close and dear to my heart, with a bit of reality.

Just give this story a chance...

Sunset
Clutching a cell phone in my hand, I gaze into the endless forest of concrete ahead of me. Forest of buildings, varying in sizes, skyscrapers and small communities blended together, making a formation of sorts. Maybe a tree here or there or some plants on the balconies of these buildings. A typical modern metro city, it is! I stand here in one of such balconies, waiting for the sun to fall back in its place. The sky sporting a vivid mixture of orange and pink, yellow too maybe!  Few clouds scattered here and there, across the brightly lit sky, hoping to form some kind of artwork. Aiming to make an evening look more alluring to its peers. As a kid, I always found tranquility while watching the sun go down. But then I grew up just like we all do!!! And in this fast-paced life, those small things lost their meaning somewhere along the road. Its been awhile and still, I find tranquility in these simplest forms of nature.  Still bounded to my roots, I see!!! A swift wind pulls me back to reality. The evening breeze used to be cool and refreshing, but it seems pollution has definitely had its effects. Even though the smell of smoke and charcoal is prominent, yet the breeze is as cool as it can be. I wonder how strongly nature had to fight to maintain its balance and ways.  A few birds are flying high above, towards their nest, home probably. Such a rare sight in today's modern cities. The clouds scatter even more, still aiming to complete their artwork. What a waste! Who has time for these wonders of nature now-a-days?  A few lone stars are peeking down. ready to brighten up the night sky. I remember how much brighter they used to be somewhere back. Aren't they now just wasting their energy in hope that someone would take time out of their so-called busy schedule to notice them, even in cities where they are hardly noticeable..........!!???
