in the beginning my life was great I had great parents, great pack members,and a great alpha. but that all changed quickly after the accident. hi my name is Avery Jane Hill this is my story. my father was Thomas Hill and my mother was Lilly Hill. I was an only child but I didn't mind that well not till after the accident at least. I could have used some protection then. I was twelve. I was wandering around and I was not paying attention to where I was going when I came face to face with the rogues, I ran I knew I was going to die anyway but still i ran. no way was I going down without a fight. I managed to get to the edge of my yard before they caught me snarling and growling their displeasure at my attempt. I screamed as loud as I could and my parents came running out. they fought the rouges off but they were so injured and had silver in their system too much to heal from, it was too late. of course the alpha already knew that because my parents mind linked for help but he was slow and got there after any evidence of the rouges had disappeared. when he got there he saw the only person left. me. desperately clinging to my parents telling him what had happened but he didn't care. my father and the alpha were friends growing up,so he was always kind to me but when he saw me there and no rouges to be found he was too angry. he wanted someone to blame for my parents death even though the rouges had long gone. that left me. yeah he blamed me. I screamed but he didn't care about how loud it was. he kept slapping me. after awhile he stoped and grabbed me by the hair and took me to the pack house since I couldn't live on my own being a minor. he threw me in a closet under the stairs and he locked the door I was there for three days without food or water and by the time he unlocked the door I was half dead. he gave me some food but just enough for me to work. then I was made to cook and clean the house. at first I was not good at all but I learned quickly after he started beating me when I messed up. every day I cooked and cleaned. at first people felt sorry for me but later just forgot about me. that was fine till my best friend stoped caring for me my best friend was the alphas son and we grew up together.we were very close until after the accident and he had slapped me telling me I was no good. now I am fifteen. I kept telling myself that it would be over in a week sense I was going to be sixteen Which meant I could shift and get out of this hell hole. today however I had to start working because another pack is coming to visit and this house needed to be spotless. I cleaned up and did laundry then went to cook lunch after that I was dismissed to my closet till dinner. when the other pack arrived I was ordered to cater to all their needs, so if they wanted something I had to get it. a few people demanded drinks and I got them. afterwards I went and started dinner and threw mashed potatoes, chicken and corn on the stove as well as some rolls in a basket and some fruit on sticks. I quickly finish and head out to the dining room to serve the food. after I was done with this I went to my room and got my bar of soap I was given and went to shower in the lake which in my opinion was better than using the hose anyway. after I was decently clean I went to bed telling myself just one more week...I'd be done. the next morning I woke up and did the same things all over again cook, clean,starve, etc. currently I was doing the dishes when a pack member walking in saying "b***h I'm hungry make me some food." I just ignored them continuing to do the dishes until I felt my hair being yanked. the pack member who's name I couldn't remember glared at me."didn't you hear me I want food." he growled. I faked innocence "oh you were talking to me! I thought you were speaking to yourself since only a b***h of a man would speak to a lady that way." I smirked. he slapped me. "make me food and shut the f**k up before you get it worse." I just nodded with tears in my eyes as I made a sandwich and handed it to him. he left without even saying thank you. I sighed and continued to work. after I finished I went to bed till dinner. that was a bad mistake I woke up to being thrown off my cot by the alpha who was screaming at me for oversleeping "are you trying to starve us down there we've been waiting for hours!!" "I'm sorry sir." I muttered. he picked me up by the neck before throwing me into the wall and kicking me. "next time be on time!!" I got up off the floor and hurried down stairs though it hurt to walk around now. I quickly made dinner and served it. the alpha told me I wasn't allowed to eat today because I had overslept,so I went to my cot and laid there hungry till I fell asleep. the next morning I woke up sore and hungry but I didn't want to be late again and quickly made breakfast for everyone. just simple eggs,sausage,and toast. after I served it and ate a small portion myself I got to work on cleaning. sense the other pack had left last night I had to clean all the guest rooms they stayed in and some of them were absolutely filthy. there were diapers from changed babies and rappers and old food everywhere. I sighed and started working it took me till lunch to Finnish this job. after I went to my special place because the alpha had dismissed me for the rest of the day. I loved it here it was a huge rock overlooking the river and it was a gorgeous view from up high. I smiled silently only one more day till I could shift for the first time.. I was going to be free.
