“Jane,” the loud voice of Alpha Charles rang in my ears, I squealed when I heard his voice, my legs made a noise as I stood in the tiled floor. I was shaken with fear. I feel that the moon goodness is being unkind, I just had to keep suffering even though I have been so nice and obedient, I have suffered so much humiliation. I took the bun to pack my beautiful blond hair, my eyes glittered with so much excitement as my lips coated in hot red lipstick patted in smiles. My heartbeat was fast, I wanted to meet my destined mate and have my life take a beautiful turn, I wanted to be loved and I was ready to submit myself to the love of whoever becomes by mate. As I sat on the chair, preparing for the night, it was a night totally different from the other nights. I applied the make over on my pretty face . I carefully lined the corners of my eyes, stared into the mirror and again, my lips parted in a satisfactory smile. I was undoubtedly beautiful, but so unlucky, but I earnestly hope that I will be lucky to find my mate tonight. I had prepared so much for this night. “I’m damn beautiful,” I smiled as I stared into the mirror again gushing over my own beauty. The sound of the music playing from the party room filled my ears, everyone was already in high spirits, as they cheered in so much excitement, laughter and jubilation, everyone was ready for the night and so I was. I stepped into the dicorated party room, “take a glass of wine,” one of the butler said, handing a glass of wine to me. “Thank you,” I muttered, sipping from the glass of wine and nodding my head to the beating of the music, at least for this night we were all allowed to party and make merry. Just then I got a flash sweep through my body, I tried to ignore it but it happened again almost immediately, this is the first time I will be having such a feeling. The moment the cute Alpha Charles worked past me, my whole body began to vibrate, I have heard about how the wolves shifted and the pains some of them experienced and I was ready to go through it all since it will get better by time. My whole body wasn’t still fine, I could feel it and the urge that something wasn’t fine, but I felt an unexplainable joy. I turned around to see Alpha Charles,he bent his head, I don’t even have connections with him but I have always admired him from afar. I was longing for my mate and to be loved, I wish it happens this night. Alpha Charles walked to me there, were cheers from the Pack members, I didn’t know why. “It has just been confirmed that you are my mate. But I don’t want you . So, I alpha Charles of the Green Valley Pack rejects you Jane as my mate,” he uttered in the most cruel way and spit on me. The Pack members laughed at me, I became so embarrassed and ashamed. “Please don’t reject me,” I have always wanted to be loved and find my mate so that I can be free,” I pleaded. “What makes you think I would like to have anything to do with a low life like you,” he kicked me. I ran out while the tears in my eyes flowed freely without control. I subbed all through the night, I lost my throats to tears , then I made up my mind to do one thing which was to run away from the Red Amour Pack. I was going to escape in the early hours of next day, I had no idea where I would go to but I can’t stand to bear the shame and humiliation. “I alpha Charles of the Red Amour Pack rejects you Jane as my Mate,” the words couldn’t stop ringing in my ears, it was the worst rejection ever , I have to this leave this Pack and go find my origin, I want to be loved. I need to plan my escape . *****Present***** I didn’t sleep all through the night as I thought about the humiliation, I waited for the morning to come so that I will run away. It’s been years since he rejected me , and yet he wouldn’t let me go. Alpha Charles wouldn’t let anyone else have me. I picked a few things early the next day, jumped through the window of my room and escaped from the Green Valley Pack, even though I didn’t know where I was going.
