"I was married to the wrong person," she began, her voice shaking. "I trusted the wrong one, and I was manipulated to do unspeakable things. I gave everything, but all I received was betrayal."

It was like a tidal wave, crashing over her with a force that left her breathless. Rage. Extreme rage. Anger. She could feel it coursing through her veins, like a fire that threatened to consume her completely.

"I want revenge," she said, her voice cold and calculated. "Dark, vengeful revenge. I want to make those who hurt me pay, to show them the same pain they inflicted upon me. And I will not stop until justice is served."

Prologue.
Adelita Solace felt like falling. It was as if she was suspended in mid-air, and the world around her had been drained of all color and meaning. She was falling, but the falling never stopped. It was as if the air was a thousand spears stabbing through her skin, tearing at her flesh and ripping apart her soul. She could feel the rage boiling inside her, the unwillingness to die. Adelita had always been a fighter, a survivor. But now, as she plummeted through the darkness, she felt herself giving in to despair. She closed her eyes and let out a cry of despair, hoping that somehow, somewhere, someone would hear her. When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a strange room. The walls were made of rough-hewn stone, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of roses. Adelita sat up slowly, trying to remember how she had ended up here. The last thing she remembered was the sound of battle, the screams of the dying. Adelita Solace lay on the cold, hard ground, her body wracked with pain. She had been falling for what felt like hours, and yet the ground seemed no closer. She was sure that she would die soon, but for some reason, the fall never stopped. As she lay there, she became aware of a voice speaking to her. It was a soft, feminine voice, full of compassion and understanding. She opened her eyes to see a beautiful woman standing over her, her long dark hair falling in waves over her shoulders. "You're still intact?" the woman asked, her voice laced with concern and a hint of sarcasm. Adelita tried to speak, but her voice caught in her throat. She shook her head weakly, trying to convey her answer. The woman knelt down beside her and took her hand. "It's okay," she said. "You're safe now. Just rest. Most of them would not be able to move for days. " Adelita closed her eyes and let out a sigh of relief. She felt the woman's hand on her forehead, and a cool breeze seemed to wash over her body. Slowly, the pain began to recede, and she felt a sense of calm wash over her. When she opened her eyes again, the woman was still there, watching her with concern. Adelita tried to sit up, but her body was still weak. "How can one bear this much rage and insecurities?" the woman said, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. Adelita nodded, and the woman helped her to lie back down. As she closed her eyes again, she felt a sense of gratitude towards the woman. She had saved her life, and for that, Adelita would be forever grateful. As she drifted off to sleep, Adelita couldn't help but wonder who the woman was and how she had come to be there. But for now, she was content to let her thoughts drift away and focus on the peace and tranquility that surrounded her. People tend to forget why they go to certain places, and why they are meant to be in that place. When Adelit woke up again, It was two days later. "Welcome, Adelita Solace," the woman said, her voice soft and musical. "My name is Lyra, and I have been waiting for you." Adelita narrowed her eyes, suspicion clouding her mind. "Who are you?" she demanded. "And where am I?" Lyra smiled, a gentle, knowing smile. "You are in my castle, Adelita. And as for who I am, let us just say that I am a friend. A friend who can help you in your time of need." Adelita frowned, unsure of what to make of this strange woman. But there was something about her that made Adelita feel safe, that made her want to trust her. "Very well," she said at last. "What do you want from me?" Lyra gestured to the bed, and Adelita sat down, her muscles protesting as she did so. "I want nothing from you, Adelita. The question is, what do you want from yourself?" Adelita shook her head. "I don't understand. Why?" Lyra's eyes grew sad. "I guide people tp find their ways back. Back to their real purpose, back to their most hopeful wish." Adelita was touched by the woman's words, but she still didn't understand. "And why am I here? Who am I? You called me ‘Adelita Solace’, that’s an oddly familiar name, but-" Lyra leaned forward, her eyes blazing with an inner fire. "Give your self a moment to catch up, my Lady. You’ll figure it out, the truth about who you are, and what you are capable of. I can’t help you unleash your full potential, only you could do it yourself." Adelita felt a spark of hope, a flicker of light in the darkness. "And what do I have to do in return?" Lyra smiled again, and this time there was a hint of mischief in her eyes. "You have to be willing to trust me, Adelita. And you have to be willing to-” Lyra’s hands cubbed Adelita’s cheeks. “Take a leap of faith." Adelita thought about it for a moment, weighing her options. She didn't have much to lose, and if this woman could help her, then it was worth a shot. Lyra led Adelita to a quiet corner of the forest, where the trees were tall and the leaves rustled in the wind. Adelita still felt dizzy from the fall, but she tried to focus on what Lyra was saying. "You're here for a reason," Lyra said. "You jumped off the Reformed Destiny cliff." Adelita nodded weakly. "That’s another oddly familiar name," she said. "Mayhaps I- I- I was benign chased?" "You’re remembering," Lyra said. "But there's more to it than that. You see, when a werewolf jumps off that cliff, they have to sacrifice their two most important things: their matebond, and their sense of touch." Lyra's voice was calm and steady as she explained the reason why Adelita had come. According to Lyra, Adelita had taken a leap of faith off a cliff called "Reformed Destiny." The purpose of this seemingly dangerous act was to reform her fate, to change the course of her life. However, there were conditions to this transformative act. Lyra went on to explain that to reform one's fate, a werewolf must make the ultimate sacrifice. They must give up their two most important things in life: their matebond and their sense of touch. This meant that Adelita would no longer be able to feel anything physically, even the warmth of the sun on her skin or the softness of a lover's touch. As Lyra spoke, Adelita Solace couldn't help but feel a sense of dread creeping up on her. Sacrificing one's matebond and sense of touch seemed like a steep price to pay for reforming one's fate. However, she couldn't deny the feeling that had led her to jump off that cliff, a feeling of being trapped in a life that wasn't her own. "I don't understand," Adelita said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Why would someone want to sacrifice their matebond and sense of touch?" Lyra's eyes softened as she placed a comforting hand on Adelita's shoulder. "You’d be surprise when you know the number of people who were willing to do so. There are fates worst than death, or loneliness caused by the lost of a matebond." Adelita felt a lump form in her throat as she contemplated Lyra's words. What was the past life that pushed her down this cliff? The thought of giving up her matebond, the one person who was meant to be by her side for the rest of her life, and her sense of touch, the ability to feel the warmth of the sun on her skin or the softness of a lover's touch, was terrifying. But Lyra had told her that this was all part of the process. People who jumped off Reformed Destiny cliff would forget their past lives and have to climb the three thousand miles stairs to the top of God's Eye Altar in order to regain their memories. I can’t live a clueless life can’t I. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Adelita walked tirelessly, her feet blistered and sore. Adelita took a deep breath and began her ascent. The stairs were steep and seemed never-ending, but Adelita pushed on. As she climbed, she felt a strange sensation in her body. Her skin began to tingle, and her senses came alive. She felt a connection to the world that she had never felt before. She stopped at the first landing to catch her breath. Adelita looked around and saw that she was surrounded by lush vegetation and a clear blue sky. She felt a sense of peace wash over her. She wondered if this was what it was like to be truly alive. As she continued her climb, Adelita thought about Lyra's words. She knew that she had given up her matebond and sense of touch, but she couldn't remember who her mate was or why she had to give up her sense of touch. She was determined to find the answers. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Adelita reached the top of the God's Eye Altar. She stood before the massive door and took a deep breath. She placed her hand on the door, and it opened. Adelita stepped into a room filled with light.
