CHAPTER 1
CHAPTER 1 Mission 1: Go Back Home "IT'S just a plain sex." The woman he doesn't know who the hell she is or whatever her name is, turned to red as the side of her temple started showing its veins. "What did you say?" Her lips began to shape as her smudged lipstick. She's tall, blonde, and has great bumps on her chest. She has faces on few billboards on their city, her hair is curled and wore some heavy make-ups. How the hell can she wore like that every time? With the white soft blanket rolled on top of her chest, she sat up and it made the bed waved. "You heard me, right?" he said and put his arm on his head, between the pillow. "There's nothing special. Not because we're the same on status, that'll mean we can announce to everybody that we're dating. Hell! We're not even dating. You're just another company to warm my bed when I feel like it." With those words of him, she raised her hand to slap him. But he won't let that to happen. He grabbed her hand and pinned her down the bed. His jaw tightened. "No one dares to lay a hand on me. Especially a slut like you. Now, get dressed and leave!" His voice roared the entire hotel room. Though she don't want to accept defeat, she got no choice but to leave. He, on the other hand, went to the bathroom to take off any germs he got from that woman. Besides, he needs to get ready for his big event that night. His recently published romance book will sign a contract, with one of the biggest movie producers. Of course, he was one of the well-known writers in the erotic romance genre novels. The first time he published a book made him happy, but not that too happy. He wanted more. He is still young with the age of thirty and he can achieve more. Each time, he stated his goals, what he wants to achieve. And achieving it would be a mission complete for him. As time passed by, he became more famous than he thought he could ever was. But then, he was not satisfied. Something is still missing. No woman, money, or fame could quench what he is thirsted for. More than that, he wants everything to be perfect, in order for him to achieve his goals. Because failure means weakness. "You need to hurry up. The other party is already here. You don't wanna be late on your own big event, right? I told you many times, career before hoes. Are you listening to me, Yuri?" his manager started nagging him over the phone. "Yeah. Yeah. I'm on my way," he said as he check his necktie on the mirror. His fingers brushed his stubborn black hair to the back, but it went back softly to cover part of his eyes. He took his car keys and leave the room. Unluckily, his car stopped on his way to the venue. He doesn't even know the problem. "D*mn! Why now?" he muttered. He don't have a choice but to take a cab. And unfortunately, no one stops for him. He even walked two intersection away hoping he could get one. As the light rain started to pour, he immediately ran towards a bus stop shed to take cover. "Great!" he exclaimed as he brushed off the drops from his fancy suit that was made exclusively for him. Not long after, a bus stops in front. It's not like he doesn't know how to ride one. It's just that he was still a kid when he did. He got no choice but to take the bus. There were only few who were inside and there are plenty of seats for him. A certain woman caught his attention. Maybe it wasn't really the woman who catched his attention. It was the book she was reading. He never expect to see someone reading one of his romance books in a public vehicle. He knows that black and red covered book. That was made by him. The woman was about his age. She was too normal. She got no make up, her hair is a bit messy that were tied in bun, and wore glasses that hides those beautiful eyes. He smirked as he approached the seat beside her. She stopped reading for a while to look at him. He gave her his playboy smile, but unexpectedly, she just stared and moved her eyes back to the words he once wrote. His head moved towards her, flirting. He was trying to figure out if she still don't know him. Every woman reading his book would know him. He got looks and fame. And that's what girl readers are dying for. She abruptly moved away and turned her body to face him. She raised her hand and swiftly stroke her baby hairs to the side of her cheeks. Her eyebrow raised. After that, she returned reading. He was shocked. He thought she would give her a slap. Unconsciously, a smile curved his lips. He blinked a few times. Normally, women who read his books would recognize him as author Yuri. They would even approached him and ask for his sign. And after that, women would want a meet-and-greet privately. "Don't you know that staring to strangers is rude?" she said emotionless without removing her eyes of the book. "That was a pretty amazing book," he said. "Are you a fan?" She immediately closed the book and stood. "Excuse me. I'm getting off the bus." "But the bus is still--" He didn't continue what he was about to say when the bus already stopped. The woman went down the bus and he just looked at her from the window, as the bus started once again. But then, his eyes landed on the nearby building that has some reporters and camera men around it. He asked the driver to stop because he was about to get farther. He went straight inside the building and was greeted by a staff. He was told to take the way to the backstage. But he doubted because the staff has no ID, yet he knows him. And the hallway was too silent, which made him doubted more. Not long after, something hard hit the back of his head. His visions started to be blurry. Until his sight turned to darkeness. Few minutes, when he woke up, he heard a slutty voice that he just heard a while ago. "Throw him off the cliff," she ordered. He wanted to move. But his hands and feet were tied. He still feels dizzy. Two men carried him and swing him away. He felt the water splashed on his body. It feels like he was bumped by a car. His body was slowly devoured by the body of water. He can't swim with those tied limbs. He knows, he'll die down there. As the darkness slowly taking him away once again, a glimpse of bright light suddenly appeared out of nowhere. It was a tiny ball as small as a baseball, but it was too bright. He did not know how but his hands suddenly felt free. He swam and followed the light ball. As he resurfaced the water, a new world has come before his eyes. It was already morning. But he clearly remembered it was night. The sun is shining brightly and gives the water the glimmery sight, where men were rushing to swim to the shore of that clear blue ocean. It was so clear that obviously it wasn't even touched by pollution. Gone are the buildings and cars. The only things he could see that time were trees, horses, vast grassland, and men wearing ragged clothes like him who were running and looks like training for military. Wait! He was just in a suit. But why is he wearing a peasant's dull brown ragged clothes? He was like in a paradise, a world only appeared way back when technology has not influenced the world. It was a world he never thought he could see. Is that even a place on Earth? What is he doing there? "Move!" A man in a better clothing, in an armor, shouted at him. The men behind him started bumping him as they swim and march towards certain direction. "Am I dreaming?" he uttered to himself. He swam with the others towards the shore. The wet soil on the shore even felt so real. "I said. Move, man of Enchantria." The man who shouted at him at the water came to shout at him again. He even went beside him to see if he will really move. "Whoa! Wait. En--what? Enchantria? What does that even mean?" he asked, confused. Suddenly, the man's fist landed on his cheek. That made him stumbled on the muddy soil. What the hell? Is this real? He can feel the pain on his cheek. As he was looking down, a red dot fell on the mud. He realized it was from his nose. Now, he is starting to panic. Where the hell is he? Enchantria? He never heard any of those. With a flick of the man's hand, he felt the air took him to stand up. Is that even real? Is it magic? He did not see anybody who helped him or even held him. "There's no time for joking. Wake up to our reality. Now, start moving. Train yourself if you want to live," the man said. His knees started to tremble. "This can't be real," he murmured. "I wanna wake up now." His breathing started to feel heavy. "I wanna go back to my world. I wanna go back home!" he shouted on top of his lungs.
