Who would have thought that just days from now, Hannah would become the worst victim of her life. Little did she know that what she was running from could easily have been better than what she was running towards. Was she just a s****l fantasy, or was she a monster's ideal of the perfect addition to his collection? Hannah would soon find out. ......... Hannah drove for miles down the dismal highway, not caring where she would end up. She looked out towards the sky and felt so free. The wind blew in her air and she knew that she was no longer near the city. She knew that she needed to get away! She needed a fresh start in life. She wanted to go someplace where no one knew her already or would pre-judge her from her past. Maybe she'd find a nice guy to settle down with, she hoped! All she ever wanted was to become a badass woman who was both a wife and a mother and could balance a career and a family successfully? No longer would she let any man control her again. She wanted an equal partnership, where he would support her as much as she supported her man! She also needed someone that she desired sexually. She didn't want to settle for mediocre s*x any longer. No, she was 32 years old, still in the best shape of her life, and she knew that her time was now! She needed to make a change, and she could only rely on herself to make it happen! As she traveled down the long winding roadaway outside of Houston, she decided to head North West. It seems as good as any other direction. Maybe part of her problem was that most of her past relationships were all rich, egotistical, power-hungry men who wanted nothing more than to control her. A trophy wife she was not! She may look like one, but she wouldn't settle for being one! She didn't have the best luck finding any other type of man in Houston. Every relationship that she had ever had turned out to be a failure. She was not about to get wifed up in a situation that was completely toxic. No, Hannah was smart, and she knew it! So she found herself driving, driving, and driving... until she decided not to drive any further. She believed that she would get a sign somewhere along the way, when it was her time to find the right place to stay and settle down. "You know you can do anything you put your mind to, Hannah Bear," she recalled her Father once told her. Hannah had a good life in Houston. She had a great condo and was working side by side with the leading private investigator in the city. She had started out as his assistant, but with her brains and skills she found herself out in the field working side-by-side with him almost daily. Her boss was definitely sad to hear that she was going to pick up and leave the city. Despite that, she felt strongly that it was the right move for her and was determined not to let anyone stop holding her back any longer. She loved that line of work, too, mostly because she was so good at it! However, it did come with its drawbacks, including making her kind of cynical, after so many years in the business. She wasn't sure if she would want to bring this career with her, wherever she landed. However, it was a nice skill to fall back on, she believed! Hannah had saved up enough money, and she thought to get by for about a year if she was conservative with her funds. She figured that this would be enough time to settle in some place and make a career for herself. Whatever that turned out to be! The driving started to become monotonous for Hannah now. She had been driving for well over 8 hours and she began to start to feel it. Rubbing her eyes, she realized she had reached Arizona now, and the scenery was beautiful with all of the mountains! It definitely looked like a place that she could get used to. However, she was still waiting for a sign. She strongly believed in signs, and thus far, nothing stood out. The drowsiness, though, was beginning to take over. It was now about 10:00 pm and she knew that she needed to find a hotel for the night very soon. The road sign up ahead read, "Tuscon." "That'll be as good of a place as any to stop," she thought. However, just as she made that decision, her Audi started to shake, causing the steering to shimmy out of control. With a loud pop, she knew right away that she had blown a tire! "Oh s**t," she thought! She knew nothing about changing a tire! Hannah eas a city girl who, although she owned acar, knew not much about them. Hannah did what any city girl would have done in that situation. She called AAA. About 10 minutes later, she still waited in her car, so she texted her parents an update on her whereabouts. Mid text for Hannah, the most strikingly handsome man knocked on her window, which caused her to drop her phone into her lap. "Hey, Miss," the devilishly handsome man said, "I'm with AAA, I'm here to change your tire!" Mesmorised by his tall demeanor, tan skin, dark hair, and blue eyes, Hannah finally woke from her trance and opened the car door for this knight in shining armor...or should I say...knight in tight blue jeans. "Ah...hi, I'm Hannah. Thanks for coming out so late," she said in an enthusiastic demeanor! She was now more energized than before." "No problem, Miss! I'm Cole; I own the Grease Monkey Garage in Tucson. I also do towing work, so I work all hours of the night," he added as he gave her a small smile. Hannah looked behind her Audi and noticed a big geen tow truck that did indeed read, Grease Monkey Garage, on the door. "It's a pleasure to meet you," he said! "You too," she replied, not being able to help the grin that had formed with her mouth. "Oh, what I'd like to do to this beef hunk with my mouth," Hannah began to fantasize. "Do you have a spare," Cole asked inquisitively as he could see her thoughts were not in the present? "Yes, in the trunk," she added. She then opened the back of the car with the flick of a button, bent over into the car, and unveiled her spare. She was hoping and praying that he was checking out her ass in addition to the tire! "Oh dear," an immediate thought crossed her mind. "What if he's married? Fuck...I should have checked, not that all married men wear rings anyway these days.: "Let me give you a hand, Miss," Cole helped her off from the the car and reached inside to pull out the tire himself. She grazed his arm as he helped her out. "Oh my gosh," she thought as she saw that he was so well built. Hannah knew that it was almost making her wet in that moment. It had been a while since she had been with a man! A real man, that is! Her ex, Damon, didn't really fit that bill. A flashback of Damon came upon her. He was tall and handsome, but more of the business type who cared more about money and how he could make more than anything else. He never once probably got his hands dirty changing a tire. Cole manhandled the tire from the trunk and spent the next 10 minutes changing the tire. Hannah was sure that she kept an eye on the prize at all times. She knew she shouldn't... but she couldn't her her eyes off from him. She made sure to look away every minute or so. She certainly didn't want to seem desperate because, well, she was anything but that. "You're all set," he told her once he was finished. "Should I bill you? I see your plates say that you're from Texas, Cole added, " "I'm relocating to the area," Hannah responded. I'll pay you cash," she dug through her purse. Cole went to his truck, wrote up a bill, and handed it to her. Hannah then paid him with cash from her wallet. "Keep the change," she said as she locked eyes with him. Their connection was almost like a shock of electricity! She only wondered if they both had felt it. This was her sign! "Can you recommend a hotel in the area," she asked randomly? "Yes ma'am, there is one right next to my shop in Tuscon. Do you want to follow me," Cole added? Hannah contemplated whether she wanted to follow him. Of course she wanted to follow him, she concluded quickly. She wanted to follow him directly to his bed! "That would be great," she added, trying to put the heated thoughts down deep! With a warm smile and a shivelrous opening of her car door, Cole then got in his truck, and Hannah followed him in her sporty Audi. Inside the car, she took a look at her bill and made a note to put it away in case she needed to reach him another time. It did have his address and phone number on it!
