Chapter 1
Atasha’s POV
I stood still eager to enter Damian’s territory but his men did the same thing. My glare wasn’t enough to make them move and I know even if I forced myself inside I will just end up being thrown out.
Having no choice I walked away and headed towards my room locking myself inside.
Whatever it is that he is hiding I will make sure to find it out.
I spent my night trying to figure out whatever it is that he was doing in his study and I didn’t even notice what time did I fall asleep.
“Ms. Atasha your breakfast is ready,” someone called that pulled me from my deep slumber.
I still feel sleepy but when my eyes landed on the clock that was hanging on the wall I immediately run out of bed and headed towards the bathroom to take a cold shower.
I usually spent an hour getting ready but this time I manage to make myself presentable in just half an hour.
The moment I stepped out of my room I was greeted by silence. I couldn’t see anyone around and the men that was guarding Damian’s study last night was now gone so I took it as an opportunity to walked towards his study. I was about to twist the doorknob open when someone spoke behind me.
“Mr. Volkov already left, Ms. Atasha. His driver will drive you to ADAV Company,”
I turned around and there I saw the woman who always calls me to eat and flashed a sweet smile not so I won’t end up looking suspicious.
“Oh I thought we will go to work together,” I responded followed by a sweet laughter before heading downstairs.
I have no appetite to eat. All I want was to see Damian and asked him the question that had been bothering me since last night.
Without wasting any minute inside the mansion I stepped out of the main door and I was immediately welcomed by Damian’s driver who was standing beside a luxurious car holding the door for me.
“Good morning Ms. Atasha,” he greeted coldly without even a ghost smile on his face.
Are they instructed to look this serious all the time?
“Good morning,” I greeted warmly despite his cold and distant greeting.
I stepped inside the car and fixed my hair a little bit as I wait for the car to move.
After almost an hour of driving we finally arrived at ADAV company.
I have been here before but my eyes still couldn’t take how huge the building is and when I stepped inside I felt extremely overwhelmed seeing busy people walking around the lobby.
